Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Clean My Past, a service of CYBRCOAST LLC, a Delaware limited liability company at 254 Chapman Rd, Newark, DE 19702.

1. We are software, not a law firm

Clean My Past is software that helps you understand your options under public state statutes and prepare court-ready documents. We are not a law firm and we cannot give you legal advice. Using Clean My Past does not create an attorney-client relationship. If you need legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

2. What you agree to do

• Provide accurate information.
• File documents yourself; we do not file on your behalf.
• Make your own decisions about your case.

3. What we do

• Help you understand if you may qualify under your state's law.
• Generate court-ready documents pre-filled with your information.
• Walk you through filing, step by step.
• Track every deadline so nothing slips.
• Help you dispute outdated background-check records.
• Refer you to a licensed attorney if your case is unusual.

4. What we do not do

• Give legal advice about your specific case.
• File documents in court for you.
• Represent you in any court proceeding.
• Communicate with prosecutors or judges on your behalf.
• Promise specific outcomes or guarantee results.
• Substitute for a lawyer when one is needed.

5. Pricing

Pricing is posted on our pricing page. Court filing fees, fingerprinting fees, and certified-mail postage are separate and paid by you directly to the court or the vendor.

6. Refunds

• One-time petition packages: 7-day money-back guarantee.
• FCRA subscription: pro-rated refund within 3 days of purchase.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Soft delete enters a 30-day grace period; after that, your PII is wiped (compliance audit log retained, defensively, with the user_id nulled).

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Clean My Past is provided “as is.” We do not warrant any specific outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months.
